Wine description:

Ròmia was the first female head of the family (pubilla) of the family, from 1281 to 1308. This wine is dedicated to all women who lead their families. Sturdy yet elegant.

The wine is fermented with only its own yeasts. A maceration of 30 days ensures good extraction and richness. The wine is then aged for 10 months in French oak barrels and ceramic amphoras and then kept in the bottle for at least a year to integrate the flavors and tannins. 

A delicious full-bodied wine. Spicy, fruity and an enormous elegance. Despite the fact that 2018 was a wet year, the wine has developed fantastically and Ròmia easily stands her ground next to Arnau. An unfiltered wine, with a dark red color in the glass. Aromas of blueberries, blackberries, ripe strawberries, vanilla, leather and spices. Refined, ripe tannins in the mouth and a perfect balance of fruit and acidity. A wine that only gets better with time.
