Albert Lopez shows that Merlot can do well in Catalonia. With 20% whole bunch and 80% detuned, these grapes go into fermentation and then mature for 8 months in toasted French oak. This results in a wine with pronounced aromas of forest fruits, strawberry, earthy, vanilla and a light smokiness.
Well balanced with lots of tannins and a full body. A beautiful expression of the terroir.
